Maury Litwack

Maury Litwack is a longtime leader and advocate dedicated to strengthening the Jewish community through civic engagement and public policy. He founded Jewish Voters Action Network (JVAN), which led the largest Jewish voter registration effort in New York history, and Teach Coalition, a grassroots advocacy movement that has helped secure significant investments in Jewish day schools, STEM education, nonprofit security, and special education services.

Today, Maury serves on the boards and advisory committees of numerous communal organizations and is a frequent speaker and writer on leadership, advocacy, and civic engagement. He is the author of the biweekly Halls of Power column in Mishpacha Magazine and has been recognized by City & State’s Power 100 and The Algemeiner’s Top 100 People Positively Influencing Jewish Life.
