Rabbi Zvi Bloom

For almost three decades, Rabbi Zvi Bloom has served as the Executive Director of Torah Umesorah – The National Society for Hebrew Day Schools, helping shape the future of Jewish education across North America. Under his leadership, Torah Umesorah supports over 800 schools, 25,000 educators, and more than 300,000 students through leadership development, educational innovation, and school support.

Rabbi Bloom’s passion for communal leadership was instilled by his father, Rabbi Shmuel Bloom, the leader of Agudath Israel of America for almost 40 years. Watching firsthand how principled leadership, vision, and unwavering dedication could transform a community profoundly influenced his own approach to public service.

Known for his strategic thinking, collaborative style, and relentless focus on strengthening Jewish education, Rabbi Bloom is driven by one simple goal: ensuring that every Jewish child has access to an exceptional Torah education and that every school has the tools to help its students thrive.
