The Opportunity Fund for Jewish Education is being created to serve eligible Jewish day schools across the United States, including Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, community, and other Jewish day schools.
Schools must meet all federal requirements, and students must live in a state where the Governor has opted into the federal program in order to receive scholarships.

Families will apply directly through The Opportunity Fund for Jewish Education. Applications are expected to open in 2027 for scholarships for the 2027–2028 academic year.
Participating schools will receive information and materials to share with their families before applications open.
Yes. Contributors can designate their contributions to a specific participating Jewish day school. Those funds will support scholarships for eligible students at that school.
